Do you think that we should give monetary incentive to the KP2 students to motivate them to get better grades?

All the things in the world have their own good thing and bad thing. This motion is very interesting for us as students especially for UniKL MICET. From my opinion, this motion is very good as this problem usually happen in our environment in our campus. For me, we should give monetary incentive to the KP2 students to motivate them to get better grades because there is more good impact than bad impacts from this situation. KP2 students is the students who got two times results below than CGPA 2.00.

My first point is we can help them to concentrate to their studies. Mostly, these KP2 students will not received anymore MARA loan. As a result, this situation makes them more pressure to continue their studies in their universities. So they cannot concentrate to their studies as they have big problems in their minds. They always think about money for their studies. So, when we give the incentives they can concentrate more to their studies. As a result they can score with flying colour in the next semester.

My second point is we can encourage them to study harder than usual. This situation is about student’s psychology. As a person when he gets a present, he becomes happy as his moral value increases . This situation is very important as the KP2 students need moral support for them to score their CGPA. So when they got monetary incentive, they will be motivated to study harder and smart as a result to score their CGPA.
